Extremely good choreography by Ananda, executed competently by her disciples. Ananda scored on artistic fronts dovetailing childhood episodes of Krishna in quick succession, never allowing the audience's interest to flag.
Ananda has done her Kalakshetra proud. She brought the house down with Vishwaroopa and the message from the Gita. The team work was praise-worthy and the impact was full of 'rasanubhuthi' ( aesthetic relish ).- Sunil Kothari, Indian Express, Hyderabad, October, 1994
Ananda Shankar's choreography and direction were commendable and it was evident that the team of young dancers had been painstakingly trained. The introductory Thillana into which was woven Jayadeva's Dasavatram sequence was intelligently devised for a group and competently rendered. Ananda Shankar as the elder Krishna was particularly convincing in Sambhavami Yuge Yuge. Depicting Krishna the thinker and Philosopher her abhinaya was well thought out, considering the content the rather abstract passages from Gita on the nature of the soul and its immortality. - Leela Venkataraman, The Hindu, New Delhi, November, 1987
