Ananda’s rare and extraordinary amalgam, of an in depth art training, academic scholarship alongside extraordinary management and administrative capabilities, has seen her emerge as an incisive and perceptive voice contributing to the discourse that surrounds Indian classical dance.

Equipped with a Master’s degree in Ancient Indian History , Culture and Archaeology, a M.Phil., in Arts History for the dissertation 'Development of Bharatanatyam - Role of Kalakshetra', and a Ph.D., for the dissertation 'Promotion of Tourism and Culture - Role of Railways' - all from Osmania University - she brings deep insights to art and dance scholarship.

She, is often invited to convene dance conferences as well as lecture widely on art related subjects.

In 2008, Ananda was invited by Sri Krishna Gana Sabha, Chennai to chair, conceive and convene Natya Kala Conferences for two consecutive years.
